The primary server has been installed and running there, and already have bin log enabled.
1. Install RPM packages on slave server Linux rpm package sequence: rpm -ivh --replacefiles mysql-community-common-5.7.23-1.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -ivh mysql-community-libs-5.7.23-1.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -ivh --replacefiles mysql-community-libs-compat-5.7.23-1.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -ivh mysql-community-server-5.7.23-1.el6.x86_64.rpm rpm -ivh --replacefiles /development/soft/mysql/mysql-community-server-5.7.23-1.el6.x86_64.rpm
2. Start mysql serivce slave server [LAB] root@jptkytcdh02vl /etc/init.d # service mysqld start Initializing MySQL database: [ OK ] Starting mysqld: [ OK ]
3. Create slave user create user 'slave'@'jptkytcdh02vl' identified by slave; grant replication slave on *.* to 'slave'@'jptkytcdh02vl';
4. Connect to slave server, and configure slave server
change master to
master_host = ’ jptkytcdh01vl ’,
master_user = ’slave’,
master_password = ’slave’,
master_log_file = ’mine-master.000001’,
master_log_pos = 980;
5. Check the status
show slave status;
more /var/lib/mysql/master.info

4. sudo iptables -F(disable firewall on both servers)
